Excerpts from Belding Obituary

RICHARD RUMMLER

Died Sunday, October 18, 2026-age 82 of Rockford, formerly of Belding,MI. under 
the care of family & Gentiva Hospice.
Born in Belding, MI on September 8, 1944, son of Richard & Josephine (Crampton) 
Rummler.
Rick earned his bachelor's degree at Ferris State University.
Married on July 4, 1970 to Nancy Olsen & they enjoyed 56 years of marriage.
Rick was a fan of baseball, attending the Whitecap games & weekends with the 
boys.
He was an avid fisherman and a Big fan college football, especially MSU 
Football.
He retired from Steelcase in the early 2000's after 25 years of service.
He was known as the "King of Organization". He had a system for everything.
Survived by his wife, Nancy, their children, Michael (Cathy) Rummler, Alan 
(Angie) Rummler, grandchildren; Alexander Rumler, Vivian Rummler, Seven great-
grandchildren, sister Gretchen Varney, many nieces & nephews and extended family 
and friends.
No formal ceremony will take place.
Memorial contributions in memory of Rick may be directed to the Belrockton 
Historical Museum.
